There’s a need in every community we serve, and from that, Our Giving Philosophy was born.

We are dedicated to solving problems, delivering the support needed to help people follow their passions, aspire for more, and better our community as a whole. The organizations that support our community are essential to this process, helping make our neighborhoods, friends and families not only grow but move forward, do more, and set themselves up for success. Similarly, we support the many organizations that approach us for assistance through sponsorships, donations, and volunteering.

Community First
Community First is the Bank's employee charitable and social committee.

In 2023, through the generous donations of employees and matching funds form the Bank, Community First distributed more than $28,000 to benefit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana, Camp Quality, Haven House, Crossroads YMCA, Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, Honor Flight and Opportunity Enterprises.

Community First has raised every donation internally since its inception in 1993, reflecting Peoples Bank employees' commitment to get involved locally and make a dedicated effort to improve the quality of life in the communities we work and live in.
