Peoples Bank was notified that Noodles and Company experienced a data breach which may have compromised your debit card account between January 31, 2016 and June 3, 2016. Noodles and Company is in no way associated with Peoples Bank, and they have posted a notice on their website at Noodles.com to explain what happened in more detail.
We have identified customers who have used their card at Noodles and Company during the timeframe of the security breach. As a proactive security measure, we are reissuing cards to these individuals.
If you used your card to shop at Noodles and Company during those weeks, please pay very close attention to your checking account. You can be proactive and watch for any irregularities in your account by enrolling in Online Banking and signing up to receive ATM/Debit Card Alerts via email or text message. Should you see any unauthorized charges please contact us immediately. It is imperative that you review your statement and look for any irregularities for the next 12 – 24 months and notify us within 60 days of receiving your statement should there be a problem. Our staff has been informed of this situation and is ready to help.
